We are seeking responsible, trustworthy, and dedicated individuals to be Summer Camp Counselors. Flint Hill Farm Educational Center offers children from the Greater Lehigh Area the opportunity to have a hands-on on-the-farm summer experience. If you'd like to make a difference in the lives of children (ages 4-6, or 7-13), consider becoming a counselor. This is a paid position which will be discussed with all serious applicants.

SUMMER CAMP DETAILS & COUNSELOR RESPONSIBILITES
KINDERCAMP (ages 4-6)
Week #1 June 23rd- June 27th
Week #2 June 30th- July 4th
Week #3 July 7th-July 11th
Week #4 July 14th-18th
Week #5 July 21st-25th
Week #6 July 28th- August 1st
Week #7 August 4th- August 8th
FARM CAMP (ages 7-13)
Week #1 June 23rd- June 27th
Week #2 July 7th-July 11th
Week #3 July 21st-25th
Week #4 August 4th- August 8th
HORSE LOVERS CAMP ages 7-13 (requires equestrian experience)
Week #1 June 30th- July 4th
Week #2 July 14th-18th
Week #3 July 28th- August 1st
Counselors Responsibilities

Counselor Hours 8 am-4 pm approx (Mon-Fri)

Plans, leads, and implements camp programs for children
-
Provides high-quality educational and recreational opportunities and enjoyable experiences for camp participants

Supervises campers and ensures their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and general well-being

Basic Requirements:​

Must be a +17 yrs old
-
Must have reliable transportation to and from the farm

Must be able to provide 3 character references
-
Must complete Pennsylvania Child Abuse screen and clearances
-
Must enjoy working with children ages 4-13 years old (age group preferences available)

Preferrably available through the Summer Camp you will be helping with (Please let us know any prior engagments during interview process)

Must complete PA CareerLink application if living in Lehigh or Northampton Counties to qualify for summer employment compensation
