Farming Experience
The farm week will introduce campers to the source of their food, good soil practices, composting, earth worms and local pollinators. The newly created “Woods and Pasture walk” developed in collaboration with the PA Department of Forestry will introduce campers to the area’s rich   natural  resources.  Since the farm is also a Registered a Certified Raw Milk Goat Dairy, the campers will be involved with the daily feeding and care of our dairy herd.  Each day has a different theme: Horses and their care, Goats/Cows-Dairy and Cheesemaking, Garden and woods, Chickens-housing, feeding and care/eggs. Friday is Parents Day.  Put the time aside to come and see what your campers learned!

REQUIREMENTS FOR BOTH CAMPS: Long pants in the AM. All campers may bring a change of clothing for afternoon games and crafts, such as shorts & sneakers.  All campers should have sunscreen, and bug repellent, as well as a rain slicker for inclement weather.

.

Whether your camper has chosen the farm’s horseback riding or farming experience, your child will never forget their time here at Flint Hill Farm Summer Camp.  We are located on 26 acres on the top of Flint Hill in beautiful Lehigh County.

Camper goals:
